The Glamour Room further enhances M on the Bund restaurant, providing an alternative space, complementary in it's sumptuousness, and becoming yet another destination in Shanghai.  Featured in SCMP 20th January 2002.

More than a "room", the space is a series of areas offering different wine and dining experiences, including a large bar with an eclectic mix of 20's-40's and Bauhaus inspired armchair furniture, low 'wine and dine' seating for up to 35 people, and formal dining for up to 60 people. The design contrasts highly polished, glossy materials such as polished chrome, mirror, shiny leathers, crystals, and onyx, with dense velvets, dark timber, lizard printed nubuck, richly patterned textiles and silks. The result is a layering of contemporary interpreted 20's-40's style, detailing and richness of finish.
